We have a comprehensive distribution network throughout Southeast Asia. Our distribution points are strategically placed around the country with the aim of minimizing cost and increasing efficiency. The Structure of our distribution network provides us for our customers irrespective of their location, be it major metropolitan areas or the outer regions. We open, reacting, professional and committed to our clients needs and proved ourselves as loyal, honest as commercial partners.
Our Story
OBH Trading Sdn Bhd and Ooi Beng Huat Industries Sdn Bhd was founded by Mr. Ooi Yan Hock in the year 1979.
1979
The family business was founded, starting from a small grocery store.
1986
The company began distribution business, securing its first agency product, “Mama”.
1987
The company expanded its operations to East Malaysia, with Ooi Yan Hock’s brother taking over management of the newly established A & S Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.
1991
The company actively involved in the toy association, contributing to industry developments.
1997
Due to increasing demand, the company moved to a new, larger warehouse to accommodate its growth.
2004
The company was officially renamed to OBH Trading Sdn Bhd.
2010
OBH Trading was honored with an award presented by Thailand’s former Prime Minister, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva.
Present
OBH Trading is actively engaged in modern and traditional trade, with a strong nationwide presence.
Then
OBH Trading Sdn Bhd and Ooi Beng Huat Industries Sdn Bhd were established in 1979 by Mr. Ooi Yan Hock. What began as a modest operation laid the foundation for Mr. Ooi to gain invaluable experience and understanding of Malaysia’s retail industry.
